Hope Groups are the small group ministry of New Hope. Groups are widely varied and cover many different types of things. Visit the Hope Group page to learn more about how to connect with a group in your area.

Tapestry Print
Tapestry is a restructuring of how we do things for women’s ministry. Women can be woven together as a tapestry to make a beautiful picture. There are four threads of Tapestry:

Tapestry Encouragement where women can send cards or make calls encouraging volunteers of New Hope.
Tapestry Power is a periodic six-week, day time bible study, discussion and prayer time for women of all ages. Watch for details for the next scheduled Tapestry Power.
Tapestry Service is called the Martha Ministry as women who love to cook and bake can serve at a funeral dinner and meet a great need in a family who has just lost a loved one.
Tapestry Connections are events that are planned three or four times a year to give opportunity for women to use their creativity in serving others.

If you wish to be involved in any of the above threads of Tapestry, contact Carrie Bassett at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 260-837-3631.

Super Seniors Print
Super Seniors is designed for New Hope attenders who are age fifty-five and over. Super Seniors sponsors three or four events each year. A Super Senior committee accomplishes preparation for events and decisions.

Super Seniors also maintains a list of volunteers who encourage and contact folks who are no longer able to make it to church each weekend and are homebound. If you know of someone who needs to be added to the Homebound list, please fill out a yellow card or contact Pastor Chet or Sharon Servis.

Our vision is a simple picture. "Our Super Seniors having lots of fun, eating great food and fellowshipping with one another. They are living abundant lives in the center of God's will. We are doing precisely what He wants us to do at the time He wants us to do it. We are just enjoying being alive and serving our Lord. We have leaders stepping up to help with various elements of the Super Seniors ministry, from the homebound in their 80s & 90s to social concerns of the 55 - 65 age group."

If you would like more information on this ministry please contact Sharon Servis at (260) 837-2401 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
