Why do churches in the United States have to be involved in the affairs of other nations? Why don’t the churches in other nations reach their own people, and why don’t the churches in the United States reach out to their own? That is a good question, and it can be simply answered by—there are many nations that do not have a church! There are many nations that have a Christian population that is less that one percent. They do not have the means nor the resources to evangelize their own people, and if we don’t tell them, who will? It is a command of Jesus Christ for us to show of our love for God, which can only be demonstrated through action (if you love me, keep my commandments), we invest our finances, and spend our time to take the Good News of Jesus’ salvation to those who have never heard it. What a wonderful opportunity—partnering with God in world harvest!
