High Point

High Point is New Hope's ministry to children during each of the weekend worship celebrations.

Parents can check-in their students to High Point's airplane-themed environment prior to any worship celebration. High Point uses interactive multimedia, high-energy praise music and exciting teaching geared around the kids.

Nursery Print
At New Hope, we realize we have mothers and fathers of young children attending our services, so we have assembled a wonderful staff of trained, screened nursery workers to take care of your children while you are being ministered to in one of our weekly services. We currently provide a staffed nursery for children up to and including the age of two. For information regarding the nursery please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Kids Club Print
Kids Club is a weekly outreach for children ages newborn through the 5th grade. Bus routes pick up children older than four years old in Waterloo, Auburn and Kendallville. Our goal is to train children in these communities to be good citizens and have a personal relationship with Jesus.

An excited staff of teachers and helpers teach the kids with worshipping, studying their Bible, giving and expecially being a fun Christian. This year's Kids Club begins Sept 9 and will continue through May 12 from 7 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday night.

To be placed on a bus route, please contact the church office at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 260-837-3631.

Cub Scouts Print
New Hope sponsors Cub Scout Pack 3171, open to boys in grades 1 - 5, which meets each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. throughout the school year in the Unity Hall.

Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Print
New Hope is diligent in its effort to provide a safe and secure environment for children/youth who participate in programs and use the church’s facilities.

Current trends in our society require some adjustments in our approach to children/youth ministries. We can no longer assume that children/youth will be safe in our church unless we actively participate in protecting them. We want children/youth in our church environment to trust and become close to our workers. We do not want our children/youth vulnerable to any form of abuse and/or neglect from anyone who would take advantage of them.

To protect the children that God has placed in our care, we have stringent guidelines that will ensure their safety and security. Our standards, New Hope's Child Abuse Prevention policy can be viewed by clicking here. Potential workers with minors can also use this site to go through their Child Abuse Prevention training (Watch Video Now), as well as download the Worker’s Application, required to become an approved worker with minors.
