Our Beliefs

We accept the Bible as the revealed will of God and the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice.

Explore what we believe and join us as we live it out with boldness and purpose.

  • The Scriptures Inspired

The Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, are the inspired, infallible revelation of God to man and the authority of faith and conduct.

  • The Trinity

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and coeternal.

  • The Nature of People

People were created good and righteous, male and female. But the original and intentional sin of Adam and Eve caused people to fall from this good and righteous status. All humans inherit this sinful nature and have no hope of reaching God on their own.

  • Salvation

Because original sin has separated mankind from relationship with their Creator, their only hope is through the shed blood of Jesus. Salvation is by faith through grace and demonstrated in repentance.

  • Water Baptism

Following salvation, all believers should be baptized in water by full immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • Communion

Communion, consisting of bread and juice, represents the body and blood of Jesus. It is a symbol expressing the presence and divine nature of Jesus in our lives, a memorial of his suffering and death, and anticipation of his return.

  • Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit works in the life of the believer through conviction, anointing, and baptism. Following salvation, all believers should seek to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus to empower the Church to preach the gospel through the whole earth until He returns. Unique from salvation, this experience comes with evidence of spiritual gifts, usually speaking in tongues.

  • Christian Living

The Bible teaches that all believers should strive to live a life of holiness. This progressive sanctification is the process of becoming more like Jesus every day, separate from that which is evil and dedicated to God.

  • The Church and Ministry

The Church is people, the body of Christ, and the dwelling place of God on earth through the Spirit. Every believer is an integral part of the Church and has a ministry towards the mission to evangelize the world, administer healing and freedom, and strengthen other believers.

  • End Times

All believers, those living as well as those resurrected, will be called to heaven at the coming of the Lord. After the millenial reign of Christ and the Great White Throne judgement, the devil, his angels, and everyone whose name is not found in the Book of Life will be sent into the lake of fire. All believers can look toward the second coming of Jesus, a new heaven on a newly created earth.

  • Biblical Morality

The Bible is our guideline that determines morals. This church stands for the truest sense of biblical and moral absolutes and principles. Truth is not subject to change according to popular opinion or cultural deviations. Marriage is an example, defined in Scripture as a sacred bond between one man and one woman. This is the only definition of marriage that this church will recognize.

This church shall be a body that exemplifies the love of God and the grace of Jesus to all people, regardless of their circumstances, choices, persuasions, or lifestyles. However, showing compassion and grace should not be interpreted as approval of such things.
